Rami Bitar is a key figure in retail, trade, and distribution. As Managing Partner at Capital Partners, Bitar International, and Tawfeer Supermarkets, he has expanded operations across Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa, focusing on making vital products more affordable and accessible.


Holding an Executive MBA from the American University of Beirut and having trained at INSEAD, Rami combines strategic planning with visionary leadership. He was crucial in launching Deroni, a top European rice and grain brand, and led the swift expansion of Tawfeer Supermarkets in Lebanon, aiming for 100 branches by 2030.


Beyond business, Rami is deeply invested in corporate social responsibility. He works with the World Food Program and USAID to tackle hunger, enhance education, and promote sustainability. His leadership is about more than just profits; it’s about community empowerment and creating positive change.
